Introduce yourself, tell us a bit about you.

My name is Mark Vassallo, born and raised in Rabat Malta, 58 years old with a love for adventure, travel, cycling and sailing. I’ve always been involved in the transport industry, also ran my own business for 15 successful years in the tourism industry. This line of work has given me a lot of memories and experiences, some of my best occurred when I was a long distance continental driver abroad.

How long have you been employed by the Company?

I have been employed by Medavia for over 9 years, started as a driver and now I am coordinating the Transport Department.

What attracted you to Medavia?

The aviation industry fascinates me, I am an avid traveler and I wanted to try something new. Medavia has been around for a very long time and its reputation attracted me to apply – and here I am!

What was your latest or biggest achievement with Medavia?

My greatest achievement with Medavia to date is my appointment as Transport Coordinator, handling and coordinating the day to day running of the Transport department and its team.

Any hobbies, interests you wish to share?

Sailing, travel and cycling – I also greatly enjoy exploring other countries and their different cultures.
