Introduce yourself, tell us a bit about you.

My name is Kyle, I’m a 25 year old who’s always been passionate about the aviation industry. I believe that communication is an important factor in this field and so I’m known for always speaking my mind as I believe that being honest with the people you are working with builds an element of trust which is essential to the successes that we work so hard to achieve.

How long have you been employed by the Company?

I started my career in aviation as an apprentice with Medavia, at the age of 16. It’s my ninth year at the Company!

What advice would you give to people aspiring in your career path?

Never give up! As cliche as it may sound, striving to learn and asking questions to further expand your knowledge is the ultimate key for success in this industry.

What attracted you to Medavia?

When I was still a student, and was researching various aviation companies in Malta, Medavia stood out to me as one of the longest serving in the industry on the island. It also helped that I knew some people who were working here at the time, who spoke so highly and enthusiastically about the company. I remember them telling me that at Medavia you are not just a number, but more like family. Today I know those words to be true.

What was your latest or biggest achievement with Medavia?

Working my way up, from an apprentice to certifying staff.

Any hobbies, interests you wish to share?

Online gaming, reading and politics.
