B787 Landing Gear Safety Pin Holder

Part 21J Design Organisation has created and certified a landing gear safety pin holder for installation on Boeing 787 aircraft.

Installed in the cockpit, it provides the flight crew with a direct visual confirmation that the landing gear safety pins were removed and stowed securely prior departure.

This safety pin holder comes with an EASA Form 1 and an EASA approved change certificate for the installation for minimal disruption.

No changes to the current Maintenance Checks. Existing zonal visual inspections remain unaffected.

No modifications are required to the aircraft for installation, it is installed directly to existing fasteners in the cockpit area.
