Yellow Hangar Returns to Medavia

In Q2 of 2022, Medavia officially regained possession of the yellow hangar at Safi Aviation Park from INDIS Malta. This facility, easily recognisable by its distinct exterior, had previously been handed over during an earlier phase of restructuring.

Its return marked a strategic step forward in consolidating our operations and strengthening our presence within the aviation park. With this additional space back under our management, we’ve been able to better align our infrastructure with current and future operational needs—supporting maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) capabilities more efficiently.

The reacquisition of the hangar reflects our long-term commitment to investing in Malta’s aviation sector and reinforces our role as a key player in the region’s aerospace industry.
