Compliance Monitoring Manager

Position Overview

The Compliance Monitoring Manager plays a crucial role in the management system, ensuring the organization adheres to the MOE and approved procedures within its scope. Operating independently from other nominated positions, they proactively manage and monitor compliance. This position requires a solid background and experience in aircraft maintenance, along with a deep understanding of Regulation (EU) 1321/2014 Annex II (Part-145).

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, implement, maintain, and review the audit plan.
  • Monitor organisational activities for compliance and proper execution.
  • Conduct internal and external audits.
  • Authorize and approve external/sub-contractor auditors.
  • Assist with root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Liaise with TMCAD, airworthiness authorities, OEMs, and operators on compliance matters.
  • Ensure MOE and procedures are reviewed and amended as necessary.
  • Issue personnel certification privileges/authorisations and maintain training records.
  • Provide periodic reports to the safety review board and hold regular meetings with key stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in the aeronautical industry, with strong exposure to compliance monitoring and audit methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of EASA PART-145 regulations, Maintenance Organization Exposition, and aircraft maintenance practices.
  • Skilled in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and risk management; familiarity with ATR72 or DHC8 aircraft is preferable.
  • Proficient in preparing comprehensive audit reports, data management, and using maintenance tracking software and MS Office suite.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively communicate audit findings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field, or equivalent qualifications acceptable to the competent authority. Additional training in auditing techniques and quality systems is advantageous.
