48 Years of Medavia

Today, 21st August, Medavia marks 48 years in business.

We started in 1978 with a small team and a straightforward goal: build an aviation company this region could rely on. Almost five decades later, that’s still what drives us across maintenance, ground handling, and design services, all from our base here in Malta.

None of that happens on its own. It’s down to the people who’ve worked here over the years, the ones who built the company from the ground up and the ones carrying it forward today. It’s also down to the operators and partners who’ve trusted us with their aircraft and their business, year after year, that trust is what any anniversary like this really rests on.

There’s plenty still ahead: new capabilities, new projects, and new challenges to work through. We’re looking forward to it, with the same team and the same approach that’s brought us this far.
