Commercial Lead (Part 145 / MRO)

We are seeking a commercially driven and strategic Commercial Lead to develop and grow our Part 145 Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) business.

This role combines hands-on commercial execution with ownership of the commercial function, including client relationships, pricing strategy, and business development. The selected candidate will play a key role in shaping and strengthening the company’s commercial approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the commercial performance of Part 145 services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and market positioning.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across airlines, operators, and lessors.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing benchmarks.
  • Develop and manage relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Lead the preparation, review, and follow-up of quotations and commercial proposals.
  • Support and participate in contract negotiations in line with company objectives.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
  • Act as the key interface between commercial and operational teams.
  • Ensure all quotations are technically accurate, competitive, and aligned with operational capabilities.
  • Support the successful delivery of projects from a commercial standpoint.
  • Establish and improve commercial processes, tools, and reporting structures.
  • Maintain accurate records of opportunities, quotations, and contracts.
  • Support future growth initiatives, including potential expansion into new service lines or markets.
  • Lay the groundwork for scalable commercial practices and team development.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven track record in commercial, sales, or business development roles, ideally within aviation/MRO.
  • Strong understanding of EASA Part 145 operations and aircraft maintenance work scopes.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert opportunities into revenue and manage high-value client relationships.
  • Solid commercial acumen, including pricing, costing, margins, and contract negotiation.
  • Good awareness of aviation stakeholders (airlines, lessors, CAMOs).
  • Highly effective communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Detail-oriented, particularly in quotation accuracy and contract review.
  • Commercially driven, proactive, and results-focused mindset.
  • Able to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with technical and operational teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM experience is an advantage.
  • Degree in Business, Aviation, Engineering, or similar is preferred; relevant experience will be considered in its place.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
