Mr Daniel Galea has just been appointed to the post of COO for Medavia Technics, the technical arm of Mediterranean Aviation Co. Ltd (Medavia), effective 1st September 2018.
Former Head of Maintenance who grew into his position throughout the years with the Company, Daniel Galea has accumulated valuable experience both on the Hangar floor as an engineer, manager and now COO responsible for the whole technical division.
Mr. Galea aims to continue the current growth of the MRO and to also consolidate Medavia Technics Part 21J Design as the DOA of choice within the EU.
With the latest aircraft maintenance approvals, Mr Galea intends to attract more regional airlines for their base and line maintenance needs, both under normal and AOG situations.
Medavia Technics’ maintenance capabilities are supported by specialised workshops. Workshop capability is an area targeted for growth by the new COO. “Adding to the capabilities of our workshops will provide our clientele a true one-stop-shop experience at Medavia Technics” Mr. Galea said.
